I am very proud to have my photo, "Minnie the Magnificent", as part of B&W's 2009 Single Image Animals Gallery!  Sweet Minnie is the most recent addition to our family, but, she is not the only family member to make it into this Gallery.

A photo that I took of my daughter, Lacy, with a horse called The Eyes Have It also made it into this Gallery.  The link for this picture is  http://bandwmag.com/galleries/animals/100.14.html

Lehigh Valley Marketplace Magazine
I have been very fortunate for several years to provide images to Lehigh Valley Marketplace Magazine.
Typically, I am asked to provide photos for either Because You Live Here or Hit the Road features of each issue which are expertly written by Kathryn Finegan Clark and Cathy Kiley.

Christine Krahling (Editor), Erica Montes (Senior Are Director), and their talented contributing writers and staffs do a wonderful job making each issue of this magazine a great visual experience for all the Marketplace readers.  Jim Mack (President) and Matt McLaughlin (Founder/Publisher) have assembled a very knowledgable and professional group of Account Executives to help their many Lehigh Valley advertisers consistently reach their target customers and successfully grow their businesses.

Shutterbug Magazine-Picture This-The Stacking Effect
In the July 2005 Issue of Shutterbug Magazine, my photo below was used as an example of the stacking effect that occurs compression with a long range telephoto lens.  It is the last photo of the article with the following text below:

Curious Combination: Racking out to a 39.5mm focal length on his Kodak EasyShare DX6490 digital camera, Alan Wood brought together this fence, sandy dune, parking lot light, and sculpture at St. Joseph North Pierhead on Lake Michigan.

The Black and White Magazine 2009 Single Image Gallery-Architecture
Once again, I am proud to have two of my images included in this Architecture Gallery of the B&W 2009 Single Images.  They are my Fleetwood, PA photo which is from a deserted farmhouse right off Route 222.

The other image is my Art and Design photo which is of the College of Art and Design in downtown Lancaster, PA.  This black and white photo was inverted to acheive a more dynamic look.  Here is this second image:

I have to say, I was not sure at first if I was proud to have my "Rear View" Photo in the 2009 Single Image Nude and Body Gallery, but I got over it!  It is not a shot that I normally take, but I am still proud for it to be in B&W Magazine.
